Nano Learny
Terms of Use: web app
These terms apply to the Nano Learny web app at app.nanolearny.app and its service (together, "the web app"), provided by Markovskyi s. r. o., Tolstého 849/5, 811 06 Bratislava, Slovakia, IČO 57 957 151, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert 205296/B ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the web app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the web app.
Your Nano Learny account also works in the Nano Learny iOS app, which has its own Terms of Use. These terms cover what you do in the web app.
1. What Nano Learny does
Nano Learny turns a webpage or PDF you choose into a short course ("learny") made of information steps and knowledge checks, and tracks your progress and streaks. You can also add ready-made learnies from the store. Courses are generated automatically from the source pages; they are a study aid, not a substitute for the original source, and may contain mistakes or omissions.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the web app. You sign in with Google or Apple, or with your email address and a password; the same account works in the iOS app. Keep your credentials to yourself, sign out on computers other people use, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the web app.
3. Content you import
You are responsible for the URLs and PDFs you import. Only import material you are allowed to access and use for personal study, and do not import material that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful. The text of imported material is processed by an automated model to generate your learny. We do not claim ownership of what you import.
You can share a learny through a link. Only share learnies made from material you may share with others, such as public documentation, not paid books or private documents. Anyone with the link can see what the learny contains and add a copy for its price in credits, and copies stay with the people who added them. We may turn off a link that breaks these terms.
4. Free plan and Learny Pro
Learnies, whether generated from your own sources or added from the store or a shared link, cost credits. A free account includes five credits in total. Learny Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that adds thirty credits per month and unlocks AI fixes and store offers. Learny Pro works in the web app and in the iOS app with the same account, wherever you bought it.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle sells you the subscription, charges the price and any sales tax or VAT for your country, sends your receipts, and provides customer service for billing questions and returns, under the Paddle Buyer Terms. The price is shown before you pay.
The subscription renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the web app under Plan → Manage subscription; it then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. A subscription bought in the iOS app is billed by Apple and managed in your App Store settings, under the iOS app's terms.
5. Refunds
Refunds for purchases in the web app follow Paddle’s refund policy. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you may also withdraw from a purchase within 14 days under the Paddle Buyer Terms, unless you started using Learny Pro in that time after agreeing to immediate access. To ask for a refund, use the link in your Paddle receipt, visit paddle.net, or write to us at support@nanolearny.app and we will pass it on. Credits you spent on learnies are not returned, except that a learny that fails to generate gives its credits back.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the web app: do not try to access the service in ways other than the web app and the iOS app, overload or disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law. We may suspend or close accounts that do so.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. This permanently removes your account, your learnies and your progress, in the web app and the iOS app alike. Copies that other people added from learnies you shared stay theirs. Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription: cancel it first under Plan → Manage subscription, or in App Store settings for one bought in the iOS app.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The web app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be correct. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the web app. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
9. Changes
We may update these terms when the web app changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the web app after an update means you accept the new terms.
